Our Diabetic Foot and Wound Care Club serves as the primary hub for excellence in diabetic foot and wound care within different regions. Led by key interprofessional specialists, the club is dedicated to:
- Providing comprehensive training and resources for healthcare professionals to enhance their skills in diabetic foot and wound care.
- Organizing regular awareness and screening camps to educate the community and promote early intervention.
- Engaging patients and their caregivers to ensure their voices are heard and integrated into care practices.
- Acting as the central point of contact for coordinating care, support, and continued professional development in the region.
The regional leaders in the Diabetic Foot and Wound Care Club may consist of: Foot Care Specialist/ Foot Care Nurse / Allied Health care professional, Trained Wound Care Nurse, HCPs specialized in diabetes and diabetic foot management, Professionals skilled in training and education.
Public Health Experts: Specialists focused on community health and awareness.
These leaders will coordinate training, lead awareness initiatives, and ensure comprehensive care in the region.
